The doting mother said, "Today, I see many marriages are falling apart. People don't have the tolerance to give each other and their relationship so much time and to see it nurture. So when Priyanka reaches that stage when she has the time to nurture her relationship and give it the attention it needs and demands, she will get married. Competing against 118 contestants from around the world, the 20-year-old became the sixth woman from India to be crowned with the title.
The first Miss World crown was won for India by Reita Faria in 1966, followed by Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999) and Priyanka Chopra (2000).

A Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, the actress was in Jordan recently, reaching out to Syrian refugee children who were displaced and uprooted from their homes and even loved ones because of the civil war. As PeeCee took some time off to tell her social media followers what she was doing, a Twitter user reminded her to visit rural areas of India where “malnourished children are waiting for food”.
The ‘Baywatch’ actress had an instant reply to his jibe, as she reminded him that she has worked with UNICEF India for 12 years and has visited many such places. She asked him what has he done for the cause and why is he belittling one child’s problem for another child’s issues. Here’s what Ravindra Gautam tweeted, “I would request @priyankachopra that do visit rural areas of India where malnourished kids waiting for food. #MissionForChildren”
To which Priyanka replied, “Ive worked w/ @UNICEFIndia for 12 yrs&visited many such places. What have u done @RavindraGautam_ ?Y is 1 childs prob less imp than another?”

Once onboard, the star seemed pleasantly surprised with WiFi amenities that she went on to tweet about it saying, “Why is it so much better to procrastinate than doing the work I'm supposed to on a trans Atlantic flight!Wifi is a distraction!#Mumbaibound!”
She also posted an Instagram story saying, "There's something so special about heading home. I mean, I know I haven't taken off yet but I can't wait to be back in Bombay."
Apart from fulfilling a few endorsement deals, the buzz is that the star will announce her next Bollywood film. Latest reports hint that 'Bajirao Mastani' director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen on Priyanka being a part of Sahir Ludhianvi's biopic.
